din't really update much recently due to the 'lack of pictures'.. LoL... but finally i've got 'enough' pictures to fullfill my blog.. hahahah...

we had our Wushu Club Gathering 07 on the 12th of May.. which was way way way over... hahaha... it was quite an event... well comparing to last year's it was obviously better... LoL.... the event started off with a traditional lion dance performance by the lion dance troupe..





LoL.. kinda rare seeing me playing the drum for a performance.... hahahahahah~

there was a station where members were required to choose either wushu, taichi or lion dance...




wee hong and I teaching lion dance at the workshop.... ishhhh~

another game called 'Happy Family' where group members were required to tie their legs with other members and together.. they will walk for a certain distance to show the soul of teamwork...



can't really take many pictures from the event coz i wasn't around for the rest of the event... LoL... sorry mate~

one week after it was my birthday (20th May).... LoL... which i waited for quite a time... the night before i had a wonderful dinner with cheelim and yaw at the Western Cowboy Steak House and had supper later on at Stevens Corner....


had this cup of drink named 'strawberry apple orange' as it contains three different flavours in three different colour layers.... LoL... interesting~


while yaw had this lime juice which is apparently BLUE in colour... LoL...


got this little cake as present few days later from Yi.. hahahah.. little but sweet~

well it was finally holiday and the Wushu Club had organized a 2 days 1 night training camp at Dusun Eco Pahang.. ishhhhh..... kinda regret going this trip... ahahhahaha.....

Teachers Day 07 celebration performance

teachers' day of Catholic High School was held on the 16th of May.. which was two weeks back... as usual... our lion dance will carry out performance to heat up the atmosphere....

as for this year... we bought two new lion heads.... a silver lion with green base and a golden lion with pink base.. just as what Khuan Loke have... and it was the eye dotting ceremony as well for these two fellas... and it was quite an honour for me to performan one of the new lions.. which was the silver green lion.. LoL

due to the heavy downpour.. the event had moved from outdoor into the hall... ishhh... it rainned as well for last year...

the performance started off with the eye dotting ceremony of the new lions.. the two lions were dotted by the school principal Mdm. TanLin and the Pres. of the Teachers & Parents Council...

new up it was the main performance.. which was a traditional performance... i will be performing while another lion would be the batik lion... and as for the golden lion.... well.. time to get back.. LoL..

hmmm.... the atmosphere do really enjoy the performance huh... LoL

last two weeks there was a celebration by a family in my area.... and they had lion dance performance for their event.... first they invited Thean Hou Hong Teik Lion Dance Troupe for a jongs performance.. but by the time i reached the place they started to pack their stuffs... sighzZz...

then they invited another troupe for a ground performance.. if im not mistaken the name of troupe was called Yuan Loong.... well at least i get to watch the second half of their performance.. lol.. they got two nice-looking red lion heads with a pair of golden-sided eyes... nice~

got a call from SMK DU's Leo club and they invited us for performance for their IU Day... so we decided to have a traditional liondance performance for them...

we decided to use this batik lion for their performance... its beenquite a long long time ever since this little fella went for a performance.. LoL..

went to Kuen Cheng's Sportsday with Chee Lim and Yaw the day before our performance to watch the newly born Kuen Cheng Girl School Lion Dance Troupe's performance...

one fo Kuen Cheng Girl High School's legend is their band... one of the strongest school band among all the KL schools.... and this was their performance...

then it was Kuen Cheng Primary School 1's performance.. which was also my primary school... comparing to my batch.... it wasn't as good as us... but they changed their uniform from the red theme to this yellow theme.....

because Kuen Cheng Primary School 2 and the High School had the same coach.. so they get to perform together... poor Kuen Cheng 1 was so left out... LoL..

next it was the time we had been waiting for.. the lion dance performance.... this was the first time ever in my life i had seen girl performing lion dance with my bare eyes... and this group of active girls here had only been trainned for one month and not more than fifteen times... a performance with such a short time... EXCELLENT..!!! this proved tt Malaysian girls can do more than they expected..... keep it up~!!!

lion dance training still having as usual.. this time having June Yaw, Guan Hwa and Robin coming back.. well it's good to have these guys coming back having fun for training.. eheh..

even the school band as well not giving up even a single second to train for their next competition..

had a small performance of lion dance for the afternoon session to take a look of what we're having here in Catholic High School Lion Dance Troupe... can't get anyone to take pictures of the performance... aiksss...

then it was Friday (19/1/07).. the first event since school reopen... 'Gerko Day'.. a day when clubs and societies will set up their stalls to attract new students to join their clubs... can't really get clear pictures as everyone was moving around... sigh..

the SLAD unit... Editorial Board and 'Unit Kemahiran Hidup'... sounded abit quiet.. eheh... even the members at the counter looked frustrated....

the Anti-Crime Club and the Art Club... looked much better than those next to them..... which was the Ed. Board...

this was one of everyone's favourite club.. the Chinese Society.. all u need was to join and pay three bucks for the membership card... thats all.. Lol.. nice decorations they got too.. hmmm..

they even brought a laptop to show the students their past time events... cool.. we wanted to do that as well at first but noone brought laptop.. ishhh...

next to them was another popular club.. which was.. the Quarter Master.. well known of handsomes and chix.. Lol.. and also the Cheerleading Squad beside...

after setting up the stalls for each societies... students started to get into the hall... LOTS of LOTS of human beings around... Lol.. society and club members requesting for students to join their clubs....

  went to a gathering organized by my old school mates.. well actually they were having this gathering every year but this time more of us shown up.. and most important is.. one of my best pal Arthur came back from Australia and it was so cool seeing him again.... Lol..

later on we were planning to have some drinks at Starbucks Coffee but then there weren't enough place for 20+ human beings.. LOL..

and so we changed to another place and it was the place where we had our gathering last year... the All Stars Cafe near to Starbucks Coffee... dude i juz LOVE the design and decorations of the cafe... COOL....

went back to have dinner at home with cousins and relatives.. celebrating the traditional chinese winter festival..... Chinese were required to have this during that day.... dunno what it called but it's really nice....

the flour will be made into ball-shaped and will be boiled with water..... is best to serve it while its still hot but not too hot...

went to Times Square to celebrate my christmas with my friends.. not really celebrating.. went there to catch a movie thats it.. LoL...

back home... taking pictures of my christmas tree again....but this time.. with a closer look... check out this Winnie the Pooh deco on it... cute huh....?? LoL..
